POWDER SESSION

~ Please Read Before Your Photographic Session ~

By proceeding with the session, you acknowledge and agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined by Hoffa Studios Photography.

Copyright
Hoffa Studios Photography reserves to right to utilise any photographs or videos taken during a photographic session for promotional and advertising purpose.

Any photography or videography (other than a Hoffa Studios Photography Team) including mobile devices is strictly prohibited during the session, including the viewing and purchasing appointment.

Gift Vouchers
A photographic session must be booked before the expiry date but can take place within 3 months after.

A $250 holding deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session and will be credited toward your final order.
If you choose not to proceed with an order after your session the holding deposit becomes non-refundable and the gift credit is forfeited.

Orders must be placed within two weeks of your session otherwise the gift credit becomes unredeemable.

Gift vouchers are valid for new orders only are not redeemable for cash and cannot be combined with other offers
or other vouchers.

You may book a session with another dancer who has a gift voucher to share the experience,
however, seperate orders must be placed.

Bookings

All bookings must be made by an individual over the age of 18.

​

Gift Voucher Bookings;  A $150 holding deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session and will be credited toward your final order. If you choose not to proceed with an order after your session the holding deposit becomes non-refundable and the gift credit is forfeited.

Rescheduling a Session
If you need to reschedule an additional $150 holding deposit is required which will be credited toward your order.

Cancel your exciting photographic session, and find a new session time,

Session Cancellations

A minimum of two weeks' notice is required for cancellations otherwise the session fee or holding deposit becomes non-refundable.

Shoot Preparation

Acknowledge that Hoffa Studios Photography is a high-end fine art photography brand that specialises in creating artistic printed artwork rather than solely providing digital files.

Hoffa Studios Photography is a high-end photography brand, so please be aware of prices before your session.

Hair & Makeup
I don't supply a professional hair and makeup artist for powder sessions, so you must arrive with your own hair and makeup.

​

​

Photographic Session
If the session involves a minor, a parent or legal guardian must be present during the photographic session.

Photography or videography including mobile devices is strictly prohibited during the session, including the viewing and purchasing appointment. Hoffa Studios Photography own the copyright to imagery produced in the studio.

Warm up time is provided during the session.
The dancer, parent or legal guardian assumes full responsibility for any injuries if sustained during the session.

Powder Safety
I use a brand  called "Holi  Colour Powder" and is the safest colour powder available in Australia. Their formula uses simple and 100% natural ingredients including corn starch and natural-coloured dyes. It is free of harsh chemicals, heavy metals, and all other toxic ingredients. Although it’s made of all edible ingredients, it is not intended for consumption, if you do ingest a small amount, do not be concerned, simply drink plenty of water.

Safety is "Holi Colour Powder's" number one priority, so they do not use any harmful ingredients in our colour powder.
If you get a small amount in your eyes, simply flush with water.
I have a particular method of photographing dancers while dealing with powder, and you'll actually have your eyes closed while you throw the powder .

Holi Colour Powder is very fine and dust will be in the air when using large amounts. Inhaling a small amount of colour powder dust is not harmful. Those with respiratory issues should take precautions as they would around any other dust.

Viewing your Photographs

Each session includes a same-day viewing and purchasing appointment.

​

Additional viewing sessions can be booked for $150, payable upon completion of the photographic session.

​

Photography or videography including mobile devices is strictly prohibited during the session, including screen recording during a Zoom session. Hoffa Studios Photography own the copyright to imagery produced in the studio.

Purchasing
Orders must be placed within two weeks of the session.

​

Payment Plans are available.

Full payment is required before the release of digital files or printed products.

​

​

Collections & Postage
Orders are to be collected from  the Hoffa Studios Photography Studio Location.

Shipping is available for a minimum fee of $50.

​

​

Image Storage & Backup Policy

Hoffa Studios Photography does not retain copies of your images; and is not responsible for the storage or preservation of your images in the event of archival loss or damage.

It is advisable to regularly create copies and backups of your images.

​

If an order is not placed within six months of your session, your images will be deleted and permanently removed from the Hoffa Studios Photography's server.
